What's a neolab?

An AI research, infrastructure, or product lab/company, typically founded by researchers/engineers from big labs, professors or post-economic founders.

Some are pre-product/pre-revenue, others are more established.

Why are certain labs missing?

The neolab definition excludes labs that are publicly listed or heading there, and the AI divisions of larger companies.
